Backups that are actually verified .
Most businesses have backups. Very few know if those backups are actually usable. Backup Verified stores your client-side encrypted backups and verifies that the encrypted backup you’re counting on is complete, intact, and available — without ever decrypting or inspecting your data.
Install the agent, run a backup recipe, and stream your data into local encryption before upload.
Your encrypted backup is stored in Backup Verified Managed Storage.
We verify that the encrypted backup was fully received and remains intact.
Download the encrypted backup whenever needed and decrypt it locally with your key.

Three quick videos. Install the agent, run a backup, and download and decrypt it locally — start to finish.
Install the Agent
Download the agent, install it, and get ready to run your first encrypted backup.
Run a Backup
Watch a backup run in the terminal, then see how it appears and verifies in the portal.
Download and Decrypt
Download an encrypted backup and decrypt it locally with your key.
What “verified” means
Backup Verified verifies the encrypted backup it stores: that the encrypted bytes were fully received, remain intact, and can be checked without exposing your plaintext data. We do not decrypt your data, and we do not perform a full restore of your original system.
- ✓ Backup fully received and stored successfully
- ✓ Checks to catch corruption and suspicious anomalies
- ✓ Verification records visible in the portal over time
Why verification matters
A backup only matters if it is really there when you need it. Storage alone is not enough. Encryption alone is not enough. What matters is knowing the encrypted backup you’re counting on is complete, intact, and available — before a stressful day forces you to find out the hard way.
Backup Verified was built for professionals who want clarity, not assumptions.
The operator reality
Most backup stories don’t fail at encryption — they fail at certainty.
- No silent truncation: know the encrypted backup was fully received.
- Detect corruption: verify the encrypted bytes you’re relying on remain intact.
- Proof in the portal: see backup and verification history over time.
Is Backup Verified right for you?
Backup Verified is built for people who want certainty, not assumptions.
You’ll likely benefit if:
- You rely on backups but do not regularly verify that they are complete and intact.
- A silent backup failure, partial upload, or corruption would be a real problem for your business.
- You want proof that a backup exists and is intact — not just that a job ran.
- You are responsible for important data where “we think it worked” is not good enough.
- You want the option to download an encrypted backup and decrypt it locally when needed.
If that sounds familiar, Backup Verified is likely worth a closer look.
Probably not a fit if:
- You already have a system that regularly verifies backup integrity end-to-end and you trust it.
- You do not need independent verification beyond your current backup tooling.
- Your data is non-critical and losing it would not materially impact your business.
- You’re looking for a fully managed disaster recovery or full-system restore platform.
- You prefer a GUI-only solution and are not comfortable running simple terminal commands.
Backup Verified is focused on confidence, traceability, and verifiable encrypted backups — not every backup use case.
